Yeah call me a nerd but I have every episode of Dragonball and DBZ, and it's awesome even though DBZ gets more and more retarded with time lol.

more like gets better, ive seen up to the cell games (gonna order that soon) and its BETTER than it was when i was a kid. know why? cause this time i dont have to wait a whole week before the next episode . when frieza died, i rewound that shit 5 times! i almost shit the bed, couldnt believe it when he was cut in half (or rather....3 if you count his tail )


still need to get all of DB, i dont even remember that shit its been so long

Actually I meant it gets dumber AFTER the Freiza saga. The end of Frieza saga was definitely teetering on dumb too with the amount of wasted time involved. They could have cut out at least an episodes worth of stuff in that last fight. Still I thought Frieza was awesome, he's a sadistic and deceiving little shit. After that though the series really starts to go downhill, especially the first half of the Buu series.... My god is it annoying. Although the last 10 or so episodes are excellent.

Edit : Original Dragonball is also awesome, it's more of a story and adventure, rather than a series of fights. It's a change of pace to say the least. Goku is always awesome though.

The original Dragonball series is much better than dbz imo. In DBZ no one really fights anymore they just fly around and shoot big ass laser beams at each other and that kind of watered it down for me cos I liked the original martial arts angle the series had....

ill have to see original db again. i actually never saw past frieza so seeing into cell was pretty cool, like to see him die haha.

Agreed, it also had a lot more variety in general when it came to story arcs. There were more stories confined to single episodes where Goku would come to town, something would happen then he moves on to another place to do something else. Even though it still had a long term goal, a lot more unique content was sprinkled through out.
