stefan86's offtopic random retard thread - post away!

Trying to avoid Breaking Bad spoilers until I get home is fucking hard! I actually loudly yelled "ahhh get if off!" at my phone when I saw the words Breaking Bad on a facebook post. Same asshole that spouted Dexter and Walking Dead spoilers when he himself continuously threatens people against posting spoilers for stuff he has not seen.

Without saying spoilers, one of the best endings I have ever seen. Amazing episode start to finish.

It's shocking to me that there are people saying it was terrible, it was a very fitting send off.

Yup I watched the last episode last week. It was pretty meh. I'm a big fan of season 1-4 but Dexter got pretty hit and miss later on.

It was pretty meh? Explain yourself! I thought the ending were great. I'm not gonna tell why to respect if anyone haven't seen it yet.

Well without spoiling too much I'll say that it was a nice ending with how he protected his beloved ones and how he torture himself for all bad things he have done.

I thought the ending was good...in contrast to the rest of this season. This season as a whole has been a much lower caliber than the others.

Yeah it was a terrible concluding season. It played out like any other season of Dexter and was very anti-climactic up until the last 2 episodes. Introduce a bad guy/good guy, kill them off, introduce another one and kill them off too, throw a last minute serial killer in at the end that you never got to know as a character and call him the big bad guy. The only branching story arc was Vogel calling Dexter a psychopath while he tries to bang Hannah who I never liked in the first place.

What I was really hoping for was that there would be investigation into Laguerta's death that would have them hunting Dexter by half way through the season, and end it with him doing his usual shit trying to escape maybe with a good nemesis (like Trinity) foiling him and fucking him up at every turn. I really wanted to see everyone's reactions to finding his true identity, you could get an insane amount of good drama and action just by revealing who he is. I find that the best parts of Dexter are when he is about to get caught and is playing cat and mouse amongst his own peers while still trying to catch some nasty killer.
