I didn't even check it out... I was only halfway sold on Opeth before, and after Heritage I was done with them. Only like a quarter of Opeth songs are interesting and even those have boring a fakk parts disrupting the good sections in them.
 
i used to love opeth. im just burnt out of them lol. i was listening to opeth non-stop for like 2 years, then watershed came out and i was listening to that, went to see them live and it was just the end haha.

i listened to heritage maybe twice at a friends house.

i couldnt care less about this new album, fucking sellout pieces of shit
 
So, who wants to start an Acapella Death Metal Barber Shop Quartet? You know, where some red and white vertical stripped shirts, sing soulful death metal on a street corner.
 
I had an interesting conversation with someone saying how horrible the guitar tone is on Resurrection Through Carnage today. Keep in mind this is a major Deathcore Chug-fest fan so I couldn't take him serious enough to be bothered by his taste in guitar anything. Still I found it weird that he didn't know that sound is intentional and there are a number of bands that still go for that sound, he just assumed Bloodbath got better gear in later albums and they were amateurs during RTC era....

Some people who swear they are hardcore Death Metal fans...

In Sweden deathcore is illegal and is punished by having the "deathcore chug-fest fan" strapped to a pole in public and then the crowd throws Boss HM-2 pedals on him until death :)
