Not Death-related but the same type of complaint: That's still how I feel about Ozzy's Crazy Train. The rest of the song doesn't deserve that opening riff.

Right with you on that one as well... The opening riff is so "evil" and "energetic" but then the tone of that song goes happy and jolly, something like that might even be fit for a Christmas carol.

I do like both those songs, for the record, but they could have done so much better with opening riffs like those.

Had to look that up, its Ozzy so no big surprise to me that it turned to cheese. But I agree, that riff deserved a better fate.
