I am happy to have anyone else win. I personally prefer a different party than the Liberals/Trudeau, but anything is better than Canada adopting US policies and a government that uses fear as a tool to push agendas Canadians don't agree with.

Not to mention the outgoing Prime Minister cut healthcare and veteran benefits and basically anything vulnerable people need, just to balance his budget for the election year rather than tax wealthier people (who remarkably were given tax loopholes and cuts that do nothing for poor people).

He cut funding for medical and scientific research, cut funding for the CBC (yup, make it harder for people to stay informed) and drops us into wars we have no place in.

Anything that will shift things back to normal is a good start.
