Except, lamb of god isnt really a metalcore band from what i've heard... they're some bastardization of death and thrash fucked in the ass by groove metal.

Metalcore mixed with Pantera pseudo-thrash "groove" which just makes it worse. At least they don't have clean vocs.. well they didn't on the record I was into 3248932948984 years ago.
