My grandma just died this year as well, but she was at least forever so we knew it was coming. My mom has called me like 30 times over the last five years and had the "well, grandma is sick, she probably won't last the week. You should visit her" talk, then she would just keep living.

But she finally kicked it a couple months ago. I feel for you man

We knew it was coming he had a few strokes the last year and was getting really weak. We just wish his last few years would have been better, grandma got alzheimers ~10 years ago so the last 5 years has been like hell for him, he basicly shut down from depression. The last time I got to see him was midsummer and it was so nice 'cause he really seemed to enjoy it. I dread the funeral.

Getting old fucking sucks.

man my grandfather went through the same thing, my grandmother passed on from cancer about 10 years ago, and he passed on a few years later. he never really got over it, had a few friends, led a simple life, got outdoors as much as he could. he took it really hard for a while too. he eventually got diabetes (after having a heart attack, quadruple bypass, cancer among others).

it fuckin sucks man, i wish you and yours my condolances, hope things pick up for you soon.

Well lets see summer of 2007 my grandfather had passed out from dehydration in the heat, granted heat is much worse now. He went to the ER they told him that they were going to send him to the heart specialist in Tupelo Mississippi cause something came up on the EKG. Well he had to get 6 bypasses and a heart valve replaced the valve came from a Cow go figure.

He's doing fine now but he's getting on up there.

Summer of 2008 My grandmother had a minor stroke Doctors said she would recover from it 100% great news right? She got out did the orders and was fine. Well here comes 2009 she goes in with swelling on the legs along with food poisoning at the same time she almost died there.

Summer of 2010 she has another stroke from a heart pill she was on that stroke almost killed her she could not speak or move or even open her mouth. I was a wreck.

I dont know how you feel about this man but I can tell you I offer my condolences as well.
