stefan86's offtopic random retard thread - post away!

is it obligatory for women to wear hijab in tunisia?

no, on contrary.
Women who work in banks, educational institutions, and so forth do NOT have the right to wear Hijab. Even students in high school, college, or elementary school (which is EXTREMELY rare). My neighbor (an elementary school teacher) lost her job because (as they said) she told some kids in class that women should wear Hijab.
But they say they can allow girls who wear our traditional clothes to cover their hair and the rest of their bodies, but it's extremely ridicules. We're as gay as france.

religion is not a problem as long as people doesn't force it upon others
Uhm yes it is.
It disencourages critical thinking.
Say half the world has a certain religion that he believes in.
Even if they don't force it onto the other half the fact remains that half the world actually thinks a god exists nad has limitations to their every day life, or scientific explorations.

And don't get me started on people stoning girls to death on the east just because they wouldn't marry a 45 year old guy at the age of 14.

how did you do that? I also need that maddafakka

a 2000 years old society is primitive, the rules of a book based on events of 2000 years old are primitive, to think those rules can be applied to a modern society, even with all its moronic laws and stuff, is primitive... religions are primitive.

When you say "religion [...] has limitations to their everyday life or scientific explorations" sounds like "Religion is against scientific exploration", when religion is not a unique one, there are as many as you can count, ALL of them reject critical thinking/scientific exploration ?

When you give an example, don't jump on sick minorities. Give a healthy example.

as I said, it depends on the book. The problem here is not how old the book is, but what does it contain.
And tell me what do you mean by a 2000 years old society is primitive? From what point of view?

from the point of view that life is no more like it was 2000 years old... you know what I meant anyways, don't reply to me with more questions, just give a proper answer... and I was talking about religious books, koran, bible, etc... for example, why the kybalion is a better guide than any religious book? because it open your mind instead of closing it to a certain dogma.
