PC gaming is definitely the way to go, I stopped buying consoles because there are only a few games for each that are exclusive that I want to play. Most the games I want are on PC, and the PC version is always superior, especially graphic-wise (although that isn't really that big a deal).

I am also one of those idiots that can't leave games alone and I have to start tinkering with things and making mods, usually before I even beat the game. I always see things I feel could be better, GTA4 in particular I modded the shit out of. I can outrun cars on foot when I want, or slow down time but still move full speed myself, whilst kicking police officers clear across the street:P.

Ah okay I see :)

I bought GTAIV a couple months ago, it could not run. I have an über PC by the way, with all requirements... It's the coding from PS3 or whatever...

ROCKSTAR SUCKS!

Did you try patching the game right after installation? The first release was a little bit shaky, but it's on patch 1.0.5.0 now and runs much much better. My PC isn't anything too crazy and I can max out most of my settings + run some graphical mods for improved graphics. Only running a Intel Q6600, 4gb ram, Geforce 8800GT PC, no overclocking yet.

Steam is awesome for the deals if you want to own a legit copy of the game. I got TF2,HL2,TFC,Half-life + expansions, Portal all for like $40.
