I'm pretty sure that most games will run on my laptop altough I cannot use any higher settings for graphics

you can always low the graphics of the game itself, I have to do that with DOOM3 and QUAKE4, otherwise I wouldn't be able to play them, it's a bit tricky but still, I do that... for example, this are the tweaks I use for QUAKE4, I run them in the console of the game
