Ok, I was looking at the new Faceculture interview with Mikael Åkerfeldt and one thing struck me.
First he says he was done listening to Death Metal allready in the 90's after their first album or whatever, he was tired of it, and then 5min later he says "We always write and wrote music we want to hear ourselves, we write our own favourite album", it doesnt make sense.
I guess you cant take everything people say too serious but... whatever.

Some people get tired of music they spend so much time writing so they stop listening other bands who play the same genre I guess. But in his case it was never only Death Metal.. bah I dunno.
