Has anyone ever had that feeling where a commonplace word or thing suddenly seems really bizarre? Things like the word "egg" or "knuckle"...or like, noses? What's up with this cartilaginous protuberance just poking out of everybody's bloody faces?

Yeah, I agree, it usually is when you say something too many times.
