string question

any ideas if will a 54' gauge be okay tuned down to c on a 25.25 scale neck? i know i would be better with a 56 or 58 but a 54 seemed to fit better in the roller nut on my strat and its tough enough just getting a 54 to fit through the tuning peg.

I'm not sure about this one I sold mine because I never played it. I can use 54 on my jackson and get down to C just fine.

should be able to get down to a C just fine...a 56 would be tighter, but you should be aight...
