I know its no recommended but sometimes when i tighten/loosen the bearclaw on the bottom of the guitar, I'm able to change the string tension, it might be in my head, but i'm pretty sure it feels tighter, sure i know its supposed to be flat, but oh well, i tend to experiment a lot w my guitar. keep in mind when changing small things especially to something like the bareclaw you might have to make adjustments to truss rod, pivot screws. Its a big headache but may be worth it. Even the finest adjustments can change anything better or worse.
