And it took me over 12 hrs and several posts to realise that you actually said'his weekend' and not 'my weekend', I've been reading it as:

I can't go to bed now, chatting with Spike. It's the defining moment of MY week, I can't ruin it.

Yes....I've had the...'pleasure'....of being able to chat to Spike since I recently added him. The poor guy doesn't seem to know where he is, or what he's doing. Probably 'cause he's upside-down. Why do you live in an upside-down place Spike? Are you dumb and silly?
