Swords & Chains Records presents Gatekeeper - Live Over Calgarae

I'm not as familiar with Manowar as I should but love what I do have, and honestly with the exception of the last few haven't heard anything downright terrible by them.

It all depends on what era you like.
Their early stuff is a mix of traditional metal and doom with a touch of epicness.

For me personally, I like their more anthem-like jams which started with Hail to England and was perfected on Kings of Metal.

Warriors of the World and beyond is still good, but they started getting to influenced by Rhapsody and included too much filler for me that was not at all fitting or necessary to the album.

They definitely though can not be touched live. Period.

While I cant say I would personally pay $75 to see them as I have seen them a couple times and dont like their recent setlists, I would recommend it highly to anyone who has never seen them.
