Do it. Haven't stopped listening to that album for months now. It destroys all their other albums by tenfold.

Yeah it's like a completely different band....waters of space, virvum, eradication pods are all good songs
The only "weak" song on the album is the one they rerecorded haha and even that was a good choice over the rest of their old stuff.

I think they got it right with Antithesis, Echoes of Decimation was brutal and technical but because of the sound production it was quite dull.
I love origin, and while they may be better they definitely don't shit on deeds. I only brought them up because no one really talked about them and that album was easily top 10 best of the year imo.

Saw Origin live when they came here with Psycroptic and the new Decapitated line-up. I've heard their music before as well. This is what I think:
Drums: Blast-beat, tom roll, blast beat, tom roll, blast beat, tom roll.
Guitar: Trem pick, sweep pick, trem pick, chords, sweep pick, rinse repeat.
Fucking boring. Barely any dynamics in their music. Only a couple of times I could hear a slam riff, which made the song a little more interesting.

Houses Ov Mercury
I was really impressed with this. Stylistically it's pretty generic, but the riffs have character and cycle well, which is an issue for 90% of the bands in this style. With a beefier production I think this would be some killer stuff.
Thanks for listening, there will be more posted soon and yeah we self recorded that before we knew anything about what were were doing, and it's completely unmastered. The next three songs(that one rerecorded and two more) are overall better on initial recording and we are having it mastered as we speak so the production shouldn't be as much an issue, though we are still fresh in the self recording game.

Thanks for giving it a shot also. Glad you guys both like it to the extent you do. haha I think our other two songs that'll be on the new demo show off our style better and are less generic then epilogue is.
Deeds of Flesh announced that they will be following up Of What's to Come with a new album Portal to Canaan. It will continue off the concept of of what's to come as well. I am obscenely excited for this!
