I here a lot of people considering them 2 different things.
They say Dream Theater is not Progressive, but technical.
Yes or ELP are considered porgressive.(mainly by the 70's diehards)
Why? I dont know. Thats why I brought up the subject.
It baffles me also.
What other elements besides the technical aspects(odd time signitures, tempo changes, unison runs and parts,, etc...) does one need?
what aspects does one need to be considered full prog period?
