. Album is just amazing. The bass is godly. Reminds me of the first time i heard morningrise in that respect. That part towards the end of 'that which lies beyond'; solo+awesome bass is notworthy
Once again, eternal gratitude, III is one of the best albums I've heard in years, and IIII is growing on me, malignantly.

So if the only disc I've ever heard by them is Agaetis Byrjun, and didn't care for it, should I bother checking out anything other releases by them?It's a lot better than Takk for sure, more focused and with a healthy return to their early experimenting spirit, but in the grand scheme of things I fail to see how it is a useful addition to a career that could/should have ended after the harrowing climax that was ( ).

This new Esoteric disc is fucking growing on me hard. Have a feeling it may take a number 1 or 2 slot in the end year list. An hour and 40 minutes of solid funeral doom? Don't mind if I do!
