The best Danish band IMO is probably Behind The Curtain. I have their demo "Creation" and it's cool. As far as I know they've also released an album. They play progressive metal.

I'm not Finnish, but I have to say Tenhi are one of the better bands I've heard in a LONG time.
Anyway, the best US band IMO is Darkmoon (fronted by Nile's Jon Vesano).

@Yara: Hollenthon is great, but I think Summoning is the best band in the Austrian scene, even if LMHSYF was a bit dissapointing.

Cattle Decapitation is the only band I can really think of. Kinda experimental Death metal. They are from my town!
