Who are the best thrash bands you know of? I'm really in the mood for thrash.

One that I have been listening to a lot lately. Probably not the best, but is among the "better" bands in the genre: Tesatment.
The disc that I have been listening First Strike Still Deadly....

The obvious ones are old school Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer and Anthrax.

Then you have other great thrash bands like Testament, Overkill, Metal Church, Annihilator, Destruction, Flotsam and Jetsam, Bloodfeast, check some of them out.

i am definitely with you...with the addition of
Death Angel, Obituary (may not be consider thrash, but they rule none the less), Exodus, Overkill, Sanctuary, etc...
