The Furor are nothing special, but, they ARE hell fun to see live

I still need to see them live, though they dont seem that bad from their recordings, they are not going to inspire many bands but they are not bad.

-Urgehal (Songs: Nefastus Nex Necis, Goatcraft Torment)
-Aeternus (songs: Vind, Seen through Abhorrent eyes, Godhead charlatan) <-- fucking love the vocals
-Koldbrann (Fra allfars veg is great, and so is Skvadron)
-Taake (songs: Doedskvad II, Doedskvad VII, Bjoergvin II, but basicly everything of Taake is a fucking masterpiece)

But Carpathian Forest is my favorite BM at the moment..

Anyone heard Unquintessence or Sirius for fuck sake?! No one ever mentioned a thing about them. Someone said that 1349 was pretty dull. Anyone thinks the same? IMO Beyond The Apocalypse and Hellfire are great.

I second my endorsement on Zmierzch. It's very-well orchestrated symphonic pagan black metal, all sung in Polish. Takes a bit of time to sink in but it will reward you. Definitely worth taking at a low price.

Not sure about it being similar to those bands, but the Meads of Asphodel write some very interesting music on the subject of Christ as a regular human being.
