The Clone Wars

Ive been eying the comic adaptation because I sard reading real books. Any good?
duh, its Star Wars...

You already know what I hate about Anakin
Sucked when Ki Adi gets shot, and it was gay that they showed Aayla Secura getting shot.

my character in Star Wars D20 was a cerean like Ki Adi named Noysen Ta Bligish. Level 13 Jedi Guardian that actually left the Jedi Order

I'd totally bang Aayla Secura. Pre-Order 66 of course.

edit: I mean, i dare you to tell me you wouldn't have hot interspecies love with this chick

I liked Bodom, but the good music they made I listened to it way too much and now I really just have them on a shelf in my mind as a memory. I might stay here, although my musical tastes probably will clash with the popular kids on the board, seems like a lot of pretentious progsnob faggots dwell here. No matter

Man, you're kind of a jumbo-prick.

What's the name of that one Jedi that was an avid swimmer?

He's the best.

I think Phantom Menace is one of the worst movies ever made (but you're right, Darth Maul is fucking awesome, really the only good part in the movie. the final lightsaber battle is pretty great actually).

 Dude, Maul and Qui-Gon are fucking epic. If it wasn't for those characters I honestly think it would be an awful movie, but again, for what it was it's was pretty good, if you take the shit meant for the kids with a light heart. I mean after all Star Wars is meant for kids, so that's why they gayed up a lot of shit.

Attack of the clones failed because of Hayden whathisface and Natalie Portman.

AotC was pretty good, a vast improvement from Phantom Menace imo, aside from Hayden... but I kind of tuned it out, like I got used to it so it didn't bother me. Why they chose him, I don't fucking know... but I really enjoyed Episode II... I mean come on, Battle of Geonosis and then Yoda's badass Clint-Eastwood style fight with Dooku. I came.

Revenge of the Sith was pretty good, methinks. It starts with a space battle in true star wars spirit, features more great saber fights, and has some pretty well done scenes. Great scenes include: Opening fight, Order 66 (anyone else go :erk: when Ki-Adi-Mundi gets killed?), and the shot where the face of the vader helmet is lowered.
RotS was good, it's just everything seemed really godamn rushed. Not sure if anyone else got that feeling. So little happened in the first two compared to the 3rd, they sort of crammed everything in and tied up everything in a very forced manner imo. The fight with the Emperor and Yoda was awesome except for the way it ended... I mean I know Yoda had to lose but why make it so retarded... like.. "Oh, I failed I'm exiling myself now kthxbai"... totally just trying to make it fit the plot, but in a poorly written way.

P.S. I think Battlefront 2 campaign really made the Order 66 thing more meaningful, shown through the eyes of the Clone Troops. I enjoyed it, anyways.

The only reason it doesn't live up to the original trilogy is, once again, shitty acting/chemistry on the part of the leads, and the NOOOOOOO at the end.

 Dude I facepalmed hard in the theatre when I saw that. I almost walked out because of it.

Really? not even a decent performance out of Ewan and Liam?
:kickass: They fucking rocked that shit I think.

I will also say that the decision to computer animate Yoda was a terrible move.
Well, they kind of had to, a puppet Yoda fighting would have looked like shit no matter what... and you know what else, puppet Yoda from Ep I was fuckign AWFUL. Looked like shit. I loved CGI Yoda. They worked hard to make him and it paid off, watch the special features .

yeah basically the killers right there. although it was pretty cool seeing yoda fuck up Dooku in 2.
:headbang:

Plo Koon is easily the coolest of the council.
 I dunno, but he was badass in the video game.. I think it was the Episode 3 game it was basically Star Wars Mortal Kombat, I always played as him.

Man, you're kind of a jumbo-prick.
Guilty as charged

P.S. Ewan McGregor or however the fuck you spell it really deserves kudos, he did the Obi-Wan role very well, I think he'd make Sir Alec Guinness proud.

I just want to stop by this thread to declare that in the span of my entire life, I have never, ever seen any Star Wars movie of any form in it's entirety. When I was younger, it was because it looked stupid. Nowadays, I'd be willing to check them out, but the inevitable mixed answers I ALWAYS get to the question I'm about to ask will reveal why I haven't done it yet.

Where do I start?

Star the way you should.

Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode 4)...

And go from there, watch the original 3, then the prequels. You're honestly missing out though man, I've seen the original Star Wars movies probably 100 times each since I was little. I didn't really understand them when I was younger but it's the type of film you just take something new away from it each time. THere are cheesy and dumb parts but that's meant for the kids and you have to understand that, don't be too harsh a critic and you'll love them if you're into Sci-Fi.

Is A New Hope (Episode 4) the very first one ever made (pretty ironic name haha)? Because if so, you've made the most sense out of anyone I've ever asked

Yes, EP IV is the first one :p the title will make sense once you've watched all 6. Actually I think it was originally just called STAR WARS... but then when they re-released them in the mid-90's and the prequels were planned to be made in a few years they tacked on A NEW HOPE... but I can't be sure, but to be honest I don't really remember seeing that name until they were back in the theatres... we had them all on VHS (pre-sfx re-make) so I'd know I watched them a lot

this movie will fail.

my favorite part in revenge of the sith is the dooku fight. watch closely when dooku releases the scaffolding onto obiwan. you can see his body is actually a giant white pillow. hahaha
