Ghost will be on tour. They're not gonna be in fucking Southern California, but I might go to Tucson, Arizona to see them.
Saw Meshuggah with Animals as Leaders and Intronaut last night in LA...Intronaut sucked, Meshuggah was pretty good, but I was most impressed with Animals as Leaders. Top notch musicianship.
I went to see the same line-up a few weeks ago in DC. I've never really listened to Animals as Leaders, so they were cool to see. Intronaut, as you said, sucked. Meshuggah played a good set, but the vocalist had just recovered from the flu, so his voice gave out before the end of the set. I would have been fine with them playing without vocals, but the vocalist from Intronaut stood in. Of course, it sounded like crap.
My concert lineup for Spring/early Summer
March 8th - Master
March 30th - Manilla Road
April 6th - Altered Existence/Angelust
May 3-4th - Ragnarokkr Metal Apocalypse with Oz, Omen, and others
May 23-36th - Maryland Deathfest (Bolt Thrower, Pagan Altar, The Obsessed)
June 21st-22nd - Days of the Doomed Fest (Gates of Slumber, Orodruin, Dream Death)
Busy couple of months.
Everyone keeps asking me if I'm going to see Opeth again in May - I think my new answer is going to be "only if you buy me a beer". Heritage makes for an awesome show, but I've seen the Heritage Tour twice at this point and want to hear some new material before they play again.
I'd much rather see Boris and give them $300 for merch and vinyl.

I know they're not popular at all with the metal crowd and I'm taking a huge leap here, but I'm excited to see Torche for the second time in June.
