Coheed and Cambria

What's the deal with them being associated with the metal scene? They have some metal influences, but not much...
Oh, whatever. I really liked that album with the ridiculous name about Apollo something. Sounds like a fun tour.

so, i just saw head (the guy who quit korn to start his own band). this girl ive been seeing works at the club as a photographer and she wanted company. anyways, really boring. not just musically. most nu metal bands have great stage presence, but not this one. however, if you slow down some of their songs, and got rid of the gay vocals, youd have doom. some of the choruses reminded me of swallow the sun played in a lame way

Went to Paganfest friday, Primordial was stellar live, The Coffin Ships gave me chills, the whole band, singer in particular had such great stage presence. Moonsorrow was great too, Blackguard was good, Korpiklaani was fun as expected. Good show overall.

Watching Opeth and Enslaved tonight, I hope Opeth's set is decent length. But then again a handful of songs would take up a hour set.
