Saw Katatonia/Orphaned Land/Swallow The Sun/Novembers Doom last night. Katatonia were amazing live, it was my third time seeing them. Swallow The Sun had their moments but were mainly boring and Orphaned Land are fucking awful. Only saw the last two songs of Novembers Doom but they sounded great.

Do you just not like them or was it because much of their live show is backtracked layers?
I mean I fucking love their newest, but I decided not to see them live after seeing some Youtube vids, where pretty much every layer or strings, leads, even female vocals, was a backtrack.
EDIT: They should totally hire some Middle Eastern orchestra to play a big show with them and play the entirety of the new album, then maybe it'd work.

They blend way too many styles, which normally i wouldn't mind but it's just too much all at once. Plus the vocalist is cringeworthy.

Okay so, some shit head in my area has been spreading a rumor without any evidence that Carcass is going to do another tour. Don't get me wrong, Carcass touring again would be the shit but this guy is basing this off of nothing and getting everyone's hopes up.
