which do you think is the best day?

Going with day 1, Rock Hard stage only for the most part.

It seems I won Scorpions tickets for their concert here in June. And I don't usually win stuff (though I don't participate either). So I'll be going... :D

With Support Of:

Master Of Waha (BE) (Master Of Waha is a new musical adventure created by Xavier Carion (ex-Channel Zero, Sons Of Jonathas) & Stef 'Doc' Sinhave. They already have been working together recording the Sons Of Jonathas album in 2005.
When they met vocalist Jason VanAcker, their creativity adopted a completely new dimension. Xavier & Stef decided to built this project around Jason's voice. The result is astonishing!)

Saw Woods of Ypres last night at a really small bar. They played a short yet powerful set. Had a lot of fun except for the dumbasses trying to mosh in an area that was smaller than the kitchen in my apartment. Looking forward to Doom in June next weekend.

Wish I could have gone to that, argh, 21+. Going to try and get a fake id before Doom in June but my chances aren't looking too good.

Did you make it Srontgorrth?

Solitude Aeturnus was outstanding, as were Hooded Menance and Stone Axe. Stone Axe sounded a lot like AC/DC. Iron Man had a personnel problem with their drummer right before going on, but they still sounded good with the drummer that they drafted. The first show that I have actually seen a musician for one of the bands get bounced from the bar. I also enjoyed the performances by Meth Leppard, White Witch Canyon and ...Of the Horizon.

Las Vegas Death Fest is next Friday and Saturday.

Oh man I would love to see Solitude Aeturnus again. Great band.

Monday+Tuesday is my double feature of the Melvins playing Lysol, Eggnog EP, and Houdini, and then Bullhead and Stoner Witch... Gonna be an amazing couple nights!

Even if I were to be there, Enslaved play nothing worth hearing except Allfadr Odin, and nothing else of their old stuff. Ghost I just saw at MDF. Not worth it.
