I wonder how many people actually downloaded this second disc album. I did and I listened to this two tracks as you recommended. Sure that was creepy, in the middle of the first track I was shitting bricks.

It is pretty damn hard for any metal band to produce a song that is genuinely "creepy". I am not into much "dark metal" or "ambient" stuff, never appealed to me, and certainly does not strike me as creepy, even though that is the direction some responses were going.

Regardless, I guess there are two songs that come to mind:

"Hunted Ordure" - LUGUBRUM off there split w/Finsteris called "Al Ghemist"

"Hail Sathanas" - BEHERIT off "Oath of Black Blood" - very evil tune...

What is with that link someone posted? Good tune to download, or what?

Listened to this for the umpteenth time last night while drunk and very cold. This song really does make me sick to the stomach... so it's annoying that it's so fucking good.

Pig Destroyer's new one is pretty brutal. Not really scary as in haunting...more like serial killer theme music.

Bloodbath's first one sounds like it was recorded in a butcher shop's meat locker. Again, not truly frightening, but definitely has a "death is in the air corpsey" sound to it.

I actually got into Stabat Mater because I saw you mention them a while back, along with Loss and Worship. Very good stuff.

Stabat Mater rules, as do all of Mikko's projects. I can't recommend his project Grunt enough, but it's more power electronics. And no treally creepy.

Some of Burzums work is really dark and "creepy".
