still, whatever you may think of the music of DsO, it is quite impressive they managed to recruit Donald Duck to do the high-pitched vocals on SMRC

so there goes my atmosphere...

and Burzum >>>> Kenose anyway

Well.... Burzum > everything, though, so that's not really fair.

well, from the samples I heard from Kenose I got the impression they were going for a Burzumesque atmosphere. in that category Burzum is still best imo, so no need to buy Kenose

I at least listened to one complete song from Kenose - and if it doesn't strike me as a good and original contribution to my collection, then I leave it at that

Clearly if you were a problem solver like your title suggests, you would have figured the EP out. Just go listen to abba no ok.

ah, so Kenose is too elite for me to understand? music is to be felt not understood

dancing queen, young and sweet, only 17....

Well it's certainly a bit more than listening to one of the three songs with completely no context whatsoever.

Deathspell Omega's music is highly dependent upon the overall experience of the album as a whole accompanied with and understanding of the ideological intents evoked through the music. Without having this understanding and only listening to one song once, it's really not surprising that you didn't get much out of it.

okay guys, so could you please give me a reader's guide to DsO? once I understand their ideological stuff, I'll give Kenose another try (yes, the whole thing) and let you know the results. let's do this careful and scientific ;)

they're what what and who now? I just listened to it and it fucking rocked my socks (and my sex). Maybe I naturally understand the ideology? dunno.

Quoted for truth.
