Yeah, I could always put out ReDesertIsland...
I know it's been said before, but it's hard to beat the SM57. It tops the list of desert island mics. Certainly the Royer 121 is nice, as are a lot of other mics (Sennheiser MD409 is pure win), but if I only had ONE mic it would be an SM57.
