The Devil You Know

Volume 8 and Stomp 442 are pretty fuckin bad. WCFYA is not much better. Infact its pretty bad as well. What Doesn't Die is pretty cool, other than that I can do without most of it. So we shall see

WCFYA is the best album Anthrax ever recorded. Just ask Keanu, he'll tell you.

Just recorded it off Sirius XM Octane and uploaded to youtube for those who haven't heard the whole thing.

Thanks for taking the time to upload the song!

I am not a fan of it. If it wasn't Anthrax and I just heard it I'd have no interest to listen to it again. But I will give it a bunch of listens and see if I can grow into it. Definitely a song build more for John Bush. But bottom line its more of the alternative sound that I am not a fan of. Nothing at all like POT, not even close. Sounds like a completely different band than the and that did POT. Not a song to go mosh to, go skateboard to, listen to while you are working out etc. It's a melodic almost Quensryche type rock song or something. Almost glam sounding. Well thats my impression right away

Listening to it for the 10th time in a row...
Have to say..ANTHRAX has finally written a song ..an original song ...which manage to take over the 'poppy' ANTISOCIAL and GOT THE TIME

Doesn't remind me of neither Only or Safe Home at all, to me it sounds more like classical mid-tempo 80's hard rock/heavy metal but has a definite "Anthrax" feel to it. Sad thing is, they're ripping themselves off. So far we've heard two songs and one has a rehashed Gridlock riff, while this one has a rehashed Caught In A Mosh riff.

Can't say I'm astonished by this, the song is good, maybe after a few listens it'll grow on me. Is it just me or is Joey trying hard to sound like John Bush in the verses (not in the chorus)?

Hey we should be happy Joey is giving us something different...maybe the long hiatus from ANTHRAX shall give us something extra from JOEY.

Love to hear JOEY going all out in this one..

so TDT finally influenced the Anthrax-sound, congrats Scatty!

when i heard the album-title for the first time it was obvious to me that it wouldn't be a Thrash-record, i wish them a high entry in the charts and countless radio play. i just don't know why they can't never be honest to their fans, they described WM as their heaviest record ever, they could have told us that it's radio-friendly hard rock, i can't imagine the devil-song on a really HEAVY record as the 3rd song. so we get an WCFYA-style intro then a heavier track in 'Earth On Hell' like 'What doesn't die' on WCFYA and then the hard rock song 'Devil' followed by 'Fight 'Em', i wonder if there will be any real Thrash-songs on the album.
