In my dream...
Does anybody here like the Enslaved clone, Secrets of the Moon?

it takes Opeth about 2-3 albums to jump to the next cliff of progression and innovation whilst it takes enslaved only one album to reinvent their wheel most of the time.
Can I possibly get some recs? I've only fairly recently started in to black metal and I can pretty confidently say that "tr00" black metal is not my thing, but I'm really impressed by what I've heard from Enslaved (Isa, Ruun, Below the Lights, Monumension), Nagelfar's "Hünengrab im Herbst", and Negură Bunget's "Om".
I really would like to explore more progressive black metal if possible.

I actually have Kveldssanger and Nattens Madrigal. Forgot to mention those, even though I really wish the production on NM was better.Definately check out Ulvers first three albums especially "bergtatt"
Also check out Akercocke's latest, words that go unspoken..
Will do, thanks.try Alcest and Amesoeurs - they are possibly a bit raw for your tastes, but are too good to miss.
Again, I'll definitely look into it. Thanks.Early Arcturus
Asperia Hiems Symfonia/Constellation/My Angel is killer

Haven't gotten a hold of Bergtatt yet, but I definitely will.
Bergtatt
is basically somwhere in between those 2 musically, yet eleven and a half times more awesome

Yeah, but I personally would enjoy the music an infinite amount more if I could hear it.The production on the album is deliberate (I presume you know this).
