My favourite album order would probably look like this:

Frost
Not including their splits etc.. And i haven't had Vikingligr Veldi long enough to really be able to make what i consider to be an entirely fair judgement (had it for like, 2/3 months and not been listening to Enslaved very often atm).

Regardless, 99% of Devin's production jobs slay half of the metal productions out there.

Enslaved is THE MOST overrated metal band in existence.
No, seriously though, am I the only one who finds them to be quite overrated? I've got Ruun and Isa, and they're decent, but I don't consider them anywhere NEAR as good as most of you.
Am I missing something? Do I need to get other albums of theirs? Which ones should I get?
I don't want to give up on Enslaved, because I feel like they have a lot of potential to be good, but honestly...I'm not hearing it.

what a broad post. going from calling out enslaved as the most overrated band, to saying that there's hope for them...
Try listening, to, you know, their classic works (Yggdrasill, Hordanes Land, Vikingligr Veldi and Frost). Judging them on the basis of RUUN and Isa is akin to writing off Slayer having heard Christ Illusion and Diabolus in Musica, but not Hell Awaits, Reign in Blood or South of Heaven.
