Definitely! Stewart airport in Newburgh is also very expensive. Luckily for me I'll be at college in either Boston or NYC by then, so my fare won't be as bad.

Full kitchen... check

stereo... no, but we have a portable that plays mp3 discs we bring with us

LAME! The Fairfield, bless 'em by all means, has a really nice CD/DVD home-theater setup (in the middle parlor room). Cheaper, too. Hope all those hairdressers don't clog up the drains and get hairs in the DVD players this year. *dark look*

Oh and all you flight people, flying from Florida to Atlanta is $235 roundtrip!! It's a friggin hour 1/2 flight !!!

That's just silly. At that price, it'd be better to drive the distance.

How is the Residence Inn Midtown, anyone know? From what I can tell, it seems to be pretty close to the venue. I was hoping to stay at the Fairfield again, it was great last year. Oh well...

This will be our third year at the Residence Inn. Yeah the parking is expensive, but the rooms are large, with a kitchen, and high speed internet. Last year we were moved twice because all the top floor rooms were leaking due to Ivan...but that is an unusual case.

We will be driving up from South Florida again to save airfare $$$ to buy swag. Considering the room is only 99/night, I guess spending 16/day for parking does not seem TOO bad.
