The Friday Five

Hah, you're the first person i've ever found that has read them other than... well, my mom who introduced me to them. I've read the first 5 (the Corwin ones) too many times to count, and the Merlin ones once.

Tis an awesome series! I've read it all the way through I think 4 times now, & turned my oldest son onto the books as well..yay for moms passing on the good book mojo! :)

And swords (the knight, queen and king of swords) was written by moorcock... Skelator (the band i'm in) are huge moorcock fans and have a few songs about Corum and such.

Ahh that explains it, I think of the Corum books as the Corum books & the Saberhagen series as the Swords books..damn authors writing about similar stuff *g*.

Who's your favorite incarnation of the Eternal Champion? I think Corum's mine, though I do have a fondness for Elric too.

1. Shogun by James Clavell. It's truly a great book. I have a feeling it's going to be one of my favorites by the time I finish. I'm also reading Siddhartha by Herman Hesse.

2. Favorite book...hmmmm. That's pretty tough. After the First Death by Robert Cormier maybe. Sort of a young adult book but it's great. A Storm of Swords by George RR Martin too. Oh and 1984.

3. If I haven't read for a while then yes I might read it again.

4. I always keep my books. I love buying them.

5. I really couldn't tell you; they're all great. Lately I've been on a fantasy binge though.
