I pretty much hate current (all of?) CLAMP haha. I do love "Alice in Sexland". Wait, that's the hentai, but they do have an ecchi version. What was it called? Midori in Wonderland? Something like that. Speaking of sex, I'm not sure if I should remove the previous ecchi image because our might god Metal Ages has had some problems with porn stuff at UM. Better safe than sorry, I'll edit it.

Haha well I did enjoy CCS. I really have incredibly high standards when it comes to anime, and most of CLAMP's stuff doesn't cut it. I believe that most anime released for the last 11 years or so is rubbish.
 
I think Falling Skies looks like a more sci fi version of Jericho, and while Jericho was fraking awesome it got cancelled faster tan the studio heads managed to say "Cash sink".

Ah, pity. FS won't be cancelled since Spielberg is involved haha. Not liking it too much, though.

The 2nd season of Kaiji has been aired since april AND NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT IT.

Senor Spielbergo or not, if the ratings suck, the show will most definitely be canned. I follow at least 20,30 shows throughout the year, every year and I've seen some pretty fantastic shows get canceled, it didn't matter who was involved with them.

Not liking the show much either so far, hopefully it'll pick up soon. That chick that constantly spouts religious bullshit definitely needs to be killed off ASAP though.:S

Yeah. American television is pretty unfortunate right now because the ratings are now hogged by a significant amount of reality TV shows. Thankfully the reality boom is over, but they've settled to a huge portion of the ratings market. That means less original programming survives on the air. There's also a proliferation of channels, but there's still only a finite number of viewers. The only "reality" TV I care for are sports events, and even these have to compete with the reality TV shows. They're so fucking cheap to produce, too, that TV networks heavily favor them as part of network product diversity. You get a hit reality TV show, you have this cash cow that costs almost nothing to produce and takes even less effort.

And just to be sure, I'm not blaming reality TV for the cancellation of TV shows, I'm just saying there's much less space for good shows to survive nowadays because of them.
