There can be strategy involved as to when to grow a beard and when not to, the pros and cons.

Tr0llh4mm3r - I shaved mine off some time at the end of December. Probably won't try to grow another one until I have a steady gal at my side.

Well, the last time I was clean shaven was July 9, 2005. So... Close to two years now, come this summer.

I'd love to grow a big beard, but seeing as I'm still at school, I don't really get a chance to develop it, what with the year coordinator going round handing out shavers to people.
That's why holidays rule.

Was growing the 'stache instead of the beard:

but had to trim it last week since I started training for a new deployment. This time training riot control, and gas mask+beard+tear gas = BAD combination!
