The Hall of the Musicians

Most of my CDs (which are not more than 50-60 by the way) are stored along with my other CDs, which are probably more than 100,000. Many of them are stacked in cases and arranged on a shelf. The others are carelessly stacked in an almira in my room.. many of which do not have even have cases or bags. Looking for a particular CD usually spoils more than 40 minutes of my time if its not on the shelf.

Around 40gb of mp3's on the computer. 22 on the iPod.

I have shelving units that are slowly becoming dominated by my metal collection. I might want to buy a couple of those tower things soon.

edit: I've got over a hundred CD's.

I have one cd tower/stand that is about 4 feet which does not fit all my cds so than have a cd/DVD stand that spins around. I also have some metal cd slots for some cds. I oganise my cds three different ways in band order and by what I listen to most and least. All my cd stands and stereo and receiver is set up between my left and right floor speakers.

I bought a nice shelf that holds 640 CDs or something like that near the end of 2005 I believe, and I shortly outgrew that. I'mabout 3/4 of the way to filling 2 180 holding standing towers, and after that, I don't know what the fuck I'm going to do, because there's no more room for more shelves.

By the way this thread title is kind of stupid when taken in context of the actual topic, no?

I now have getting towards 1200 or so metal cds, fact fans. Thankfully, just over a year ago I moved into a fucking demi-mansion, which has a double garage converted to an indoors room, which I use.

I have all the CDs stacked up on a work top in there, either on a couple of 400 cd capacity shelves, or just stacked up horizontally against the wall for now.

EDIT: Changed the number of CDs. Slip of the fingers.

I haven't been really into metal (or music in general) for particularly long, so my music collection is fairly modest. I keep all my jewel cases in CD towers and all my CD's in large CD wallets.
