Personally for me, i dont get the hype around clayman. The Jester race and Whoracle were there to best albums IMO. Everything after is just meh two me

I never knew why people loved Clayman, I thought it was a mediocre album that set the tone for all the garbage that was going to come to be. Everything about Jester Race is perfect, one of the only metal albums I still listen to. Whoracle is also amazing as well, but I would say that not all the songs are as gold as TJR. Apparently Whoracle almost didn't happen, as In Flames were apparently too busy drinking and playing video games :zombie:

Tjr is a damn fantastic album. Clayman was a black album effort. Very user friendly/ accessable whatever but still awesome. But I'll take colony and back over it! Productio is insane though 8|

Clayman = pretty good production, musically not strong at all.

Yeah TJR and Whoracle were the best. I just can't listen to that stuff anymore though. I burned it out, just like Opeth's entire catalogue. After hearing Mors Principium Est it's like In Flames became obsolete, across every era.

One of the best albums I've ever heard. The weird thing is that I'm starting to like it slightly more than Whoracle, which is pretty much my favorite album evar.
