The Jobs Thread

I work in a kennel at an animal hospital. Lots of bitch work and occasionally dealing with cranky techs, but I love the people I work with (with the exception of the pedophile vet) and I get to play with puppies and Tou-Tou, one of the best cats in the world. I'll get pictures next time he's boarding.

I worked at an Albertsons grocery store for two years and then quit in August. I was a cashier, bagger, nightcrew guy and stocker throughout the two years there.

On friday, I hope to be getting a job with a new grocery store that's opening in town.

Web Design for a cluster of radio stations. It's fun and easy and I get to be creative but sometimes (like right now) the workload is completely overwhelming. I don't even know what I'm doing browsing this forum right now!

But it's cool because music and art are my two favorite things and I get a huge share of both with this job, so I gotta admit I love it :)

I work at a federal health plan, handle claims and benefits for gov't employees and postal workers n' whatnot. decent pay for what I do, the hours are kinda shitty right now, but they change periodically. For the most part it's an ok job...kinda boring tho, all office jobs are... =P

Oh and also... my dream job is to be a Forest Ranger. Maybe someday. I'd love to spend all day in the woods and live in a cabin out in the middle of nowhere all by myself.

I work at a Door Manufacturing company where I have the title of, "Pressman." I happen to construct the doors... Shitty job, good people, good money, amazing benefits.

Secondly, I run my own business doing photography and graphic design, also web design for people all over North America... But mostly locally. My biggest business comes from locals.

Hehe, Reuben has a cool job.

As for myself....I'm jobless.
I simply don't have the time to deal with one right now.

But mine prevents me from doing much else. What does one do to not have time for the workins? I'd like to do this too.

I work as a freelance CAD tracer for a mechanical engineering company. They built specialized machinery for the metallurgical industry, and I draw those machines on the computer. It´s neither very interesting nor funny, but the money is ok and it´s not a hard job to do, so I´m perfectly allright with it. Plus - same as with your Job, Lioness - they give me all the free time I ask for.

I work for a fancy furniture company, in the stockroom, working deliveries and such.

I'm at university so it's part time. It's cool because it's minimal customer interaction...and there are loads of hot mums working there :heh:
