Jaxx is all ages. However, it's a lot longer ride.
That sucks. I really would have loved to see Therion. It seems in the future I will be travelling to Europe.
I would make last-minute plans to go to NYC to see them, however, the show is 16+. I won't be 16 until March. I hate being young.

i'm driving down from Boston to VA, i'll be seeing that show at Jaxx.....although that's also b/c i'm going down mainly to play a couple shows of my own in MD and WV, so you'd be tagging along with me for like 4 days lol....but you can come if you'd like, PG
They said the same thing on the last tour...
I'll put odds on them returning again...
This makes me even more depressed I can't make the NYC show
Though considering I figured they wouldn't have another US tour after the last one, it's not really all that surprising.
Well, Therion slayed in Chicago tonight! Crowd was subpar at best, but Therion gave 150% without a doubt. When they bill their show's as "one of a kind performances," they're not exaggerating. Aside from a few of the people on the rail(some of them PP attendees) basically beating off rather than enjoying the show, I'd say it was a most memorable experience for what is allegedly their last US tour...
Oh yeah, Aesma Daeva(sp?) was possibly the worst thing I've ever seen/heard. To think their set could have equaled another 45 minutes for Therion is just depressing. I hope no one else on the tour is subjected to such filth.
What's wrong with you? Aesma Daeva are amazing... I am perhaps biased a little bit because I am friends with them, but still. Evidently they must be doing something right if they are able to open for Therion and have their singer Lori join Therion on stage during their entire set as a vocalist... I mean, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion, but to put it the way you did was highly idiotic.
That musician - sacrifice theory is just bullshit. Where is it written that artists sould suffer for the pleasure of fans? They're telling it as it is, and being straight up about it. They're losing money, and can't afford to. There are still has families to feed, homes to pay for, and bills to pay. Yet you think they should "sacrifice" so you can have an opportunity to see them live? No.
How about you give up your house so you can fly over and see them. Fans should sacrifice for bands too, right?
As I've said- Starving for artists or anyone else is highly overrated.
About 30 minutes later Therion came out. DEAR FUCKING GOD!!!!! With the first song just starting I was getting in my place and had my hand on the speaker and before I could even look up Snowy Shaw was running out and nearly crushed my hand. He was a sight to see....looked like a gay viking. Had these furry boots, black skirt, this half shirt hood thing and his makeup and these real odd arm bands.
watching the one dark haired singer. She was nuts...but sexy. She had that stick whip and she accidentally hit the other male singer in the leg. She totally jumped and he looked surprised. If she caught you looking at her she would do weird stuff.
just the acting and costumes were great....even the pirate dracula costume that one guy had on.
