Well ive been listening to a couple of tracks off the first album and am really enjoying it!

Are there any other Mars volta fans here that can point me to their best work?

Pretty good band, I'm not a fan of the vocals. De-loused in the Comatorium is definitely my favorite album of theirs.

I think De-loused in the Comatorium is good, but over rated. My favorite is Frances the Mute.

Mmhmm. Took me a while to get over the vocals, but I dig. De-loused is their best. Fuck, I'll listen to it right now.

I only heard 'De-loused' and 'Frances the Mute' in detail, I prefer 'Frances the Mute'. Musical masturbation at its finest. Took me hella long to get into their stuff, largely because of the vocals.
