back to the toppic...
of course the scene is nothing of what it used to be in the 80s... Just look at nuclear blast... mainstream and low quality as hell...
so real goog music is again in the underground...
about gigs... actually I am quite pleased with where I am... saw Destruction some weeks ago, CAnnibal Corpse and the no mercy festival, will see Benediction, Vader, Tankard, Grave digger, Dew-scented soon... The crowd are enough.. but they are fuckin pussies nowadays... no bloody slaughterhouses like it used to be... :hotjump:

Yeah, totally agree with you, I mean, I love new Metal bands, really young Metal bands but it is NOT the same like years ago, I think much of the cool feeling is lost, however, to be honest I like what I am living nowadays, but at the same time I know the old Metal scene thing is dead, nothing like the 80's and 90's._SLAYERIZED_ said:

Yeah, my posts were deleted because the moderator didn't like my words and I opened my mouth real wide. I had a catfight with a chick of this Forum, she attacked me and I defended myself so my words were offensive to some people. I disagree always with that song and dance but ot each his own. There are many bands I like in CM, NB, IOMA and other big labels. Look Judas Priest they just signed again with CBS (Sony), Iron Maiden did their best album with EMI. Black Sabbath with Vertigo/WB._SLAYERIZED_ said:

Nope, I'm not going to diminish the quality of minor labels, underground and/or unsigned bands, but big labels still have good bands with them, IMO.

Talking about labels, what are your faves?
My favorites at the moment : Metal Blade, Massacre Records, Inside Out, AFM. None of them is huge, still they're not underground either. Iron Glory have cool bands too.

I don't care about the label, for which I care a band like Wolf can sing with ???? Music or with BMG as long as they keep making albums like they have made so far (sadly sometimes big labels pressure the band or they don't know how to manage them properly ).

It's not solely the property of big labels, even some small specialized labels pressure their bands, but that's another story...
