After a few listenings:
Sounds a lot like Character, but i wont complain about not evolving until the entire album is out (Stanne promised acoustic sections, right? ). Lyrics are really well done, sounds great and are easily intelligeble.

It's definitely the most 'clear' and 'sharp' song I've heard from them in a while. Everything can be distinguished, and even the growling is very well enunciated. Not gonna be nearly as funny to reverse engineer the lyrics to this one as it was last time.

But on the plus side, it rocks.

I'm really happy, DT has done it, again.


The new song follows the Character style, and it is just great. It is awesome, I love it.

My only complain is that the drums are rather monotonous at the beginning, but only there, they're great in the chorus, but damn... the keyboards....the solos...the lyrics... .

I love this song..., I LOVE IT!!!


It's great, the drums, although I as I said before are a bit monotonus/repetitve, really go according to the song, and they mark and change the rhythm perfectly.

The keyboard solos are jus incredible, I think that they will even better than in Character!

The guitar solos are incredible, they give me this passion I did not feel at times in Character.

The lyrics are amazing, I actually understood the meaning from the beggining! Hehe that's strange with DT , yet I do not mind it at all.

I thought I heard "Insignificunt" in the lyrics of Focus Shift.. So maybe the song just got its title changed..

It reminded me of their early work too, and I think I know why. If ye pay close attention, you'll notice that the drumming is very old DT style, for example as in The Gallery, in which the drumming was not very complex, and this is the same in this song, it is just the same beat for a lot of time, as in The Gallery, and that's what reminds me a lot of the oldies.

The guitar solos are just incredible, it's far beyound words how amazed I am when I hear those solos, once again you have the feeling that you truly have a band full of really virtuos people.
