Give it a few spins. This disc doesn't have the immediate impact of "Dead Heart". However, after a few spins, it begins to reveal itself in an incredible way. Warrell is in top form, Loomis and Smyth play off each other wonderfully and Williams in a f**kin monster. There are no weak songs here.zinescene said:I personally found the CD to be very boring. Production was excellent but the music was really uninspiring.
I agree with that thought a lot. EoR never really worked for me in a big way. It's got some cool tunes, but for me it was a definate step back in quality from the couple previous masterpieces. I do enjoy the redone version a lot more than the original muddy sounding garbage that came out of Kelly Grey's knob turning, but the disc is severely lacking in top line Nevermore catchiness. Luckily they have rebounded in a big way on TGE.booB said:it does indeed slay... a great comeback for them after the lackluster Enemies of Reality.
