Definitly agree. It gave me Hate Crew Deathroll Vibes. It was such an energetic and aggressive sound. Just amazing. True shame that they couldnt record the full album. But atleast we got the EP at all.I think the Bodom After Midnight album would’ve been great based on the EP
i also 100% agree that bodom after midnight album would have been awesome. i could feel it. still breaks my heartDefinitly agree. It gave me Hate Crew Deathroll Vibes. Wow! Great stuff, @COB-666.
They could have just made it a café, that also serves beer n shit. Somehow that would have been cooler towards Alexi. Alexi would probably have loved a bar though.
I’m sorry but how’s a “cafe that serves beer n shit”different. Is it the word “bar” that bothers you? Cause you kinda lose your point there. In this bar you can also get pizza and shit, not just alcohol. Or you can just go sauna and not drink anything. They’ve actually had an interview in Finnish Radio Rock maybe couple days before the official opening where they were asked if they got any “negative” feedback and Jaska addressed this exact argument. His reply was that this has been something that Alexi has always wanted and there had been many thoughts and talks about it through the years when the band was active and he was still alive. Also, Alexi’s family is 100% supporting this endeavour, which ofc also shows by the various Alexi’s personal stuff that were donated and are part of the museum of the bar.
The place is great, it’s really worth a visit if you find yourself in Helsinki, Espoo etc. There’s so much cool stuff in there that every fan would love to see. And hopefully more stuff added in the future. At least for me, it’s obvious that the COB guys really loved their buddy and it’s a celebration of him and their legacy.

I didn't expect them to release another album. But that's a welcome surprise.

I hope it will also come with a Bluray and not just a CD.
Considering how long we've been collectively asking for a new live DVD, this is godsend.
As for a cover album, that would be great, but I do not recall hearing about it and I would be surprised if they had enough new material to publish something nice. Although it would be a nice opportunity to release that long-awaited version of Talking with the Trees.
Lets hope it really is a Bluray and not just a CD. Im not into listening to live shows. I need to watch em too for full enjoyment.Considering how long we've been collectively asking for a new live DVD, this is godsend.
