The no-bashing thread

Since bashing has become a problem in Non-Metal I figured a thread like this needed to be made. Talk about whatever music, and if someone mentions something you hate, don't say anything. Just ignore it or change the subject.

Anyway, I heard a couple songs from the new Radiohead album when I was in the virgin records store in NYC. It sounded pretty good but I don't buy an album unless I know the band well.

Is the album good or is there another Radiohead album I should get?

The only Radiohead album I wouldn't buy is Pablo Honey, their debut. It sounds really immature, they obviously hadn't found their sound at that point. Although Creep is a good song, but that's about it.

If you want a more straight forward pop-rock album buy The Bends, if you want the classic buy Ok Computer, if you want them at their weirdest buy Kid A, or if you want mixture of all those things, buy anything after that.

BTW anyone else want to discuss how great Interpol is.

Do we have any more Dave Martone fans here?? He really needs more fans. He's the best modern guitarist out there right now with Guthrie Govan. I think Dave is more fun & rewarding to listen to though.

Does anyone know any good traditional Chinese music? I heard some in a Chinese restaurant, it was pretty awesome, I'm at a library right now so I might wanna get a cd or two.

These guys fucking pwn your Momma. It's not traditional Chinese music (I'm not even sure if they're Chinese) but they fucking r00l I really need to get some stuff by these guys ASAP. I would be imppressed if anyone here can lead me in the right direction.

Second vid is great, the first one you can have, its not my thing. Im not big on electronic keyboard excess. I can date that sound back to a song called Joy that got lots of airplay back in the 70's, was great for one song but that was enough for me.
