I like Deicide better when Glen's doing a low growl instead of the Morbid Angel-like higher growl on the S/T.

exactly the oppsite for me tbh, i hated his vocals on their latest.

^I think his vocals got better with age, his vocals from Insinyrhythm onward sound better than the ones on Once Upon The Cross, though those are good. The vocals on Once Upon The Cross are good, the vocals now are great.

the first 2 albums had some of the most ferocious animal grunts and screams I have ever heard.

^They sound deeper and better though now, it's the sound of the growl that matters to me, not the range too much or the monotonousness of it.

I just came back from riding around in different hang-out spots with a couple friends in separate cars in a town about 15 minutes away, a small one too, and virtually everyone there is blasting rap music and some even country. So I start blasting Suffocation-Liege of Inveracity in a crowded area and I got some of the weirdest looks multiple times. It could've also been because how often do you see Metalheads riding arond in these spots? Basically all these kids do for fun in these small towns here is ride aorund and blast music in hang-out spots because there's nothing to do. I blasted some Deicide, Morbid Angel, Satyricon, and Emperor too, it was fun riding around doing it, but damn do I wish this town had some clubs, going to a goth industrial club woulda been interesting as hell, my friend has had major success with women riding around in the area we did today and I don't know how he does it, I tend to do better in a dark club/dancefloor scene myself where it's based on your looks generally and how willing you are and I can do good there with the girls, but in real life when they get to know who I really am it's over. But I ended up in the McDonald's parking lot leaving after talking with a few people I knew and listened to some Nightside on the way home in the dark.

Heh. People in the town I graduated in used to do that. Hang around McDonalds, and some other spots. There were these rednecks who used to hang out in this grass field next to Advanced Auto Parts, it was called "The Lot." My friends and I used to drive by them and call them corndicks and drive off. I thought it was funny.
