The official movie thread

I like The Sopranos too. Also have to start watching Lost and Six Feet Under... just watched some random episodes and I want to watch the whole seasons.
What about Prison Break? Anyone likes it?

I just finished with Six Feet Under. The final montage in the last episode is probably the best way a series has ever ended.

Last nights Heroes episode ruled! "Sylar!" *STAB*

Hiro fucking rules.

Ah I am a Prison Break maniac!!!Though I am a big PB fan I have to say that Lost rulz much more, you def. should start watching it...And yes Heroes is good too,Peter rulz:)
Btw I liked the way the last PB season ended,it will be so much fun to watch our guys,Mahone,T-Bag,Bellick and Scofield in the same prison and this time the prison is much more dreadfull!!!:loco:

I watched Heroes' season final today and I gotta say that it disappointed me a little bit.
_____SPOILER_____

My problem is with the scene that Nathan took peter to sky.First of all I really wonder why Peter did not fly by himself to sky even though they both knew that Nathan was gonna die exploding by Peter's side.My second disappointment was the scene that we saw that Sylar was gone. Now that really disturbed me cos they turned the story to a cliche where the important villain never dies.I mean Hiro did not kill him at first I understood that but this one was too much.We saw the sword pierce through his body for Godsake how the hell could he stand back and disappear??In Lost or Prison Break if someone dies,he or she REALLY dies...I think the writers are afraid to kill him because maybe they lack the stuff to write more.I really hope that Tim Kring doesn't let this one turn into a Buffy thing.

Btw I saw Zodiac yesterday,it was so boring...I strongly advice you not to see it.David Fincher had never let me down until this one.

^ Krieng said he has content thought up for 5 seasons, I doubt thats why they let it end like that. And who knows, maybe he is dead, but that other bad guy that the girl talked about took him or something. Who knows. I like Sylar though, when he goes out I want it to be epic. Of course Magneto always stayed alive against the X-Men so maybe Sylar will be like that. And I'm thinking Peter was too caught up with the radioactive stuff to control his flying. When Hiro stabbed Sylar it was pretty bad ass though.

You scare me sometimes there, Angelina - I just bought the first season on DVD lol (it's the ONLY thing I watch on TV). PLEASE don't tell me you watch it haha.

As well, Apocalypto JUST came out on DVD and I bought it without seeing it before (yeah yeah complete impulse buy but I think I knew what I was getting into). This is a movie I was supposed to see in the theater but never found the time to do so, but anyway....funny thing is...

...OMG! The movie has become in my top 5 favourite movies ever alongside Dances with Wolves, Braveheart, The Last of the Mohicans and The Last Samurai. Holy crap Jaguar Paw is cool shit...I mean wow, this entire film is extraordinary and if anyone here hasn't seen it yet then I suggest you do so immediately. Stunning cinematography, amazing characters and incredible story-pacing...the thing NEVER once drags on and the two hours honestly felt like 90 min. Man, I was craving more of that jungle setting beauty. The Jaguar chase scene was perhaps the most stunning thing I have witnessed in film making recently...words cannot begin to describe how drawn I was to everything. Aargh, love it when movie's exude such emotions from me....

Anyway, yeah...I'll be watching it again shortly.

I'm afraid I'll have to scare you one more time...
...I watch Prison Break! :loco:
Haha told you, maybe we're twins separated at birth o_O
And, btw, I watched Apocalypto at the theatre some time ago.. I think I posted a review here. Interesting movie it is.

Hmm...I wonder? Nahhh. But seriously, that show has excellent character development. It has this way of pulling you in and not letting you go...it's hard for me not to be hooked on it. I have to buy the other seasons once they arrive and/or price drops.
:) I think I remember reading your review. BEYOND interesting, hehe. I'm in love with Indian culture, even though they're Mayans it's very reminiscent to Indian way of life.

im interested in seeing that. hows leonardo's accent? i heard it was terrible. not surprising given hes trying to do seth efrican.

i just watched some of the second season of lost which my friend has... i dont know the appeal of this show. the first season was ok. now they just ask more and more questions while answering one or none per episode. its going NOWHERE!

Yes! I remember last month there was a marathon of PB in some cable channel.. I was like 2 days watching it, I don't know how long it lasted but I was so thrilled haha... but then I missed some episodes. Anyway I'm gonna get the whole first season at least, soon. Also I'm about to get Lost so I'm also excited about that. Everybody have told me such cool things about it, I'm curious now!

I watched ''Pirates of the Caribbean:At World's End'' today and im so unsatisfied.. I really love the first two but this one disappointed me, i had expected a better ending (i dunno if there will be 4th)
Captain Jack was the only thing that kept me interested..

Well unfortunately there will be at least another 3 more. The only thing I remember from the first two is being bored, and the scene where the captain jumps into the sea monsters mouth in slow motion. Such cheese.

Couldn't agree more.I haven't watched the last and am not planning to watch since I left the second one half cos of boredom.

Haha yeah the second one was fairly average. The first however had some very nice parts. Would've been better if they didn't squeeze it so hard with the sequels. But that's the price of success in Hollywood these days. WAY too many sequels.
