The official movie thread

I don't see how it's not special to this day. It shows how some people just can't change no matter what in a very morbid fashion.

I still think older zombie movies are more realistic and scarier than the ones made today. Most horror/zombie movies are the same thing these days...LET'S MAKE SCENES WHERE THE MUSIC GETS HIGHER AND HIGHER THAN SOMETHING JUMPS OUT AND ALL THE HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS WILL JUMP UP!!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!!

I need an old Zombie movie day sometime. Come join.

Saw Black Christmas last week, pretty great fucking remake, although I haven't seen the original. No other new movies out in the theaters I want to go see; Pan's Labyrinth isn't playing in Arizona (I'm dying to see that movie). The Hills Have Eyes II comes out in theatres soon. Anyways, here's a list of movies I've seen recently rated on a scale of 1-10:

Black Christmas - 10
Waiting... - 6
Jackass Number Two - 10
Firecracker - 10 (with Mike Patton!)
Happy Endings - 9
Transamerica - 9
The Weather Man - 7
What's Eating Gilbert Grape - 9
Little Miss Sunshine - 8
Lady In The Water - 9
My Super Ex-Girlfriend - 7
Eragon - 3

-Vince

N.P. Blackfield - Once

I wanted to see Blue Velvet but my bf, who is a big Lynch fan, told me it's not that good but anyway I'm gonna see it and judge by myself.

Haha, Lucio Fulci... a friend of mine once made me see some movies by him. I laughed a lot. What a freak.
